Try this, if you're using ubuntu feisty.

System > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts

Assign 'Run a Terminal' a shortcut, say, Ctrl+Alt+T or whatever you like.

Close the keyborad shortcuts window.

Now, press and hold down Ctrl+Alt+T for sevral seconds. So what do you think?

Or, in Firefox, press and hold down Ctrl+T for several seconds. Got the same result, right?

Shortcut keys are meant to be pressed for ease of use, not abuse. And abusing does not mean it's software's fault!

It's not really a Vista flaw, you can do the same thing in Windows XP if you hold down the keys for long enough.

This flaw exists in XP as well. Nevermind how much they spend on developing Vista, they never fixed its carryover from XP.

Thank God ,I dont use Vista, hehe.
BTW, I also found a shortcut in XP which can shutdown our PC in just 5 seconds, without seemingly any problem. Just press Ctrl+alt+del to get task manager , then go to shutdown menu , then while holding ctrl , select turnoff and keep holding ctrl for few seconds. Ur PC will instantly turnoff.
